The Illinois State Council

of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, International

Hall of Faith

Article I

The name of this ministry shall be The Illinois State Council Hall of Faith, a program under the auspices of the Illinois State Council.

Article II

This Hall of Faith is hereby established as a way of maintaining for our constituency, present and future, the rich heritage and tradition of faithful service to God and this Illinois State Council. In addition, the ‘Hall of Faith’ will serve from this time forward as a means of recognizing, preserving, and honoring those saints of God who have made significant contributions to the success of this fellowship. The ‘Hall of Faith’ acknowledges the contributions and accomplishments of the individuals who are worthy of recognition, and examples for others to emulate.

The ‘Hall of Faith’ shall also receive and maintain photographs, recordings, writings and other items of historical significance to the Illinois State Council.

Article III

The ‘Hall of Faith’ shall be governed by the Hall of Faith Selection Committee including:

The Curator, the Diocesan Bishop, the Council Chairman, the Director of Communications, a District Elder (rotating on a yearly basis), and a senior saint who shall be nominated from the floor to serve for life. A quorum consisting of 80% of the committee shall be present in order for any business to be transacted. If a consensus cannot be reached, then a vote requiring a simple majority will be taken.

Article IV

Nominations may be submitted by any member of this Council in good standing.

Nominations shall be in writing giving the name of the nominee, and reasons for this individual to be considered for selection to the ‘Hall’.

In order for any individual to be considered for induction into the “Hall of Faith”, justifications must be presented as to why this person properly belongs in this place of esteem. Such saints shall have demonstrated a love and commitment to the Council through attendance and service. They shall have served in some official capacity in the Council. The life of nominated individuals shall have demonstrated the elements of fellowship, integrity, and holiness upon which this Council stands.

Friendships and familial relations must never be allowed to enter the discussion of eligibility for this esteemed recognition.

Nominations shall not be limited to souls that have passed on to glory, but special consideration may be given to living saints, that they may “smell their roses while they live”. Such considerations must be judiciously considered.

Article V

The inaugural service of this ministry shall be at the November 2011 Council session held at the Apostolic Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ. All subsequent inductions shall take place during the Friday night service of the Annual Council session.
